40 people showed up for AMTS's first public talk at the Singapore Art Cafe. President Ng spoke about music therapy, training requirements, brief update on the local MT scene, and clarified a few misconceptions e.g. MT is different from Sound Therapy, debunking the Music Rx ideology. Ms. Ruyters led a short improvisation experiential session that involved the participation of a few volunteers (thank you for the music!). Dr. Tan also helped field some questions along with Ms. Loi.
Thanks again to Singapore Art Cafe!! We are sad that you’ll will be going away…
