MUSIC THERAPY

Music therapy is the systematic use of music by trained professionals to facilitate the healing and positive personal growth of people with identified developmental, emotional, intellectual, physical, mental, social or spiritual needs.

The Association for Music Therapy (Singapore) AMTS was formed on 19/9/2007 to increase public awareness of Music Therapy in Singapore, and serve as an organizational agency for locally-based Music Therapists.

The pioneering batch of 11 all-female professional Music Therapists included

Audrey Ruyters,
Dr. Patsy Tan,
Chen Hsueh-lien,
Ng Wang Feng (President),
Loi Wei Ming (Treasurer),
